Bargains!

Oh my gracious yesterday was brilliant day in bargain shopping for me!! I got one of those awesome Cropper Hopper 10-drawer carts for $31.99!! It is usually $89.99.  Talk about a teachers dream! I also got some wonderful bags at Michael's for $0.75 a piece that I am going to use for activity bags.  Our school is starting a new thing this year where our kids will stay inside after eating lunch instead of going outside for a little recess. So, I have to make 20-24 activity bags for my kids to do everyday at lunch.  I was going to put them in large ziploc bags, but I found some awesome canvas orange and pink bags to use instead!  I will post some pictures of how I made and use them once they are all complete!

School Supplies!!

I don't know about you all, but I LOVE school supplies!! There is nothing like the smell of a new box of crayons or fresh markers! LOVE IT!! :-) I have been getting some amazing deals on school supplies! Be sure to check out Staples weekly adds for their penny and cent deals!  Last week I got 100 index cards for one cent!

I am getting so anxious to see my classroom and start setting up! Fingers crossed next week will be the lucky week and I can get in to start setting up!  I also get my OSAT Early Childhood scores back next week so I am hoping that next week is full of great news!

I cannot wait to start gaining some followers on here and start sharing my ideas, as well as, my favorite bloggers ideas with you all!

Hey All!

My name is Monica and I will begin my teaching career this fall in a wonderful Kindergarten class! I am BEYOND thrilled to be teaching these little kinder babies and cannot wait to share my experiences and ideas with you! I have been inspired the last couple of years through teacher blogs and hope to add to that by inspiring others! I cannot wait to begin this school year and am looking forward to sharing that on this blog! :-)
